From the muddy banks lined with coconut trees, to the bustling floating markets, the flavors of this vibrant region are bold, balanced, and deeply rooted in tradition.

Across the Mekong, it's often the women—mothers, grandmothers, aunties, and daughters—who carry the responsibility of feeding the family. With wisdom passed down through generations, they nourish not just with food, but with love, care, and connection. em ơi is inspired by their quiet strength, their generous spirit, and the stories simmered into every pot.

Inspired by my family recipes and night-market aromas, my sauces and food are a love letter to my home, the Mekong Delta.  I have captured the essence of this culinary heritage—sweet, salty, sour, spicy, and umami—and bottled into every jar.

em ơi

A phrase you'll hear echoing through the streets of Vietnam.

It means “hey you” or “darling”, depending on who's calling. It's tender, familiar, and full of heart.

Whether it's a street vendor calling to a passerby, a lover beckoning from the kitchen, or — like in my family — a father calling to his wife, em ơi is always an invitation.

An invitation to gather. To share. To eat.
And most of all, to feel at home.
